Business grows - Application evolves

No matter how big or small your company is right now, sooner or later you’ll find your business has grown significantly, and this is a time to get the workflow automated. Once you face this problem, the search for a required solution begins.

Handling a Heavy Volume

The information volume the application service provider can handle has always been brought into a question. A lot of users really wonder how deep and complicated the structure can be and how stable the system works while handling a heavy volume.

Imagine the data volume that can even stagger our TeamDesk customer: one of the biggest seeds and planting stock distributor.

With over 200,000 clients at the moment and having 190,000 orders placed within last three months, these numbers keep growing day after day. 50 operators place about 2,000 to 4,000 orders per day and one of the tables is already populated with over 6,000,000 records.

Even though the volume keeps growing steadily (up to 90,000 records are added daily) the system works smoothly, so the customer may concentrate on their business, resting assured that the system can handle their growing demand.

Just What I Need

I spent many months searching, downloading and trialling all types of customer management and ordering databases. I stumbled upon Teamdesk by accident, joined up for a trial and 3 weeks later I managed (with some customisation) to produce exactly what I was looking for.

Our organisation consists of 1 Factory, two shops and three websites including workwear, embroidery, toys and giftware. I now have a complete database management system for my organisation which is secure, easy to operate and allows my staff to track, view and send customer orders. We also create Purchase Orders beautifully presented in PDF format which we email to our suppliers.

The TeamDesk system will save our organisation valuable time and money. Customer Support with the Teamdesk application is unrivalled and helped me achieve my needs.

We Love TeamDesk

We love working with you and we love your application.

We are a small but growing software company juggling many new client requests. So far we have struggled in tracking projects between the developer, testers and clients.

Fantastic Application

I have got to say that this is a fantastic application and exceptionally well supported – Well Done!

I have trialled several systems to date; some very good systems with very poor support and some not so good systems.

I am particularly impressed with the relationships between tables and how this seamlessly links forms from one form on one table to another form on another table – this saves hours of coding in other applications – such as MS Access.

I have now shown my staff the application, and they are over-the-moon with it – so many, many thanks for all your help setting it up.

I look forward to continuing with this suite well into the future.
